Access Unlocked Sunday January 22, 2023 A mass shooting took place last night near the Lunar New Year celebration, in Monterey Park, California.
The shooting left ten (10) people dead and at least ten (10) others injured. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital.
The violent incident took place around 10:30 pm local time, at a ballroom dance club.
Authorities continue to search for the male shooter, who fled the scene.
There was also a shooting at nearby Lai Lai Ballroom in Alhambra. Police are investigating if the two (2) incidents are related.
