Access Unlocked Monday December 19, 2022 Brooklyn, New York PastorLamor Whitehead who was robbed of his expensive jewelry during a livestream church service, has been indicted on federal charges. The charges include one (1) count of extortion, one (1) count of making a false statement (to the FBI), and two (2) counts of wire fraud.
The forty-five (45) year-old pastor of Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries has been accused of defrauding a parishioner, out of approximately $90,000. Instead of investing the church member’s retirement funds, the pastor squandered the savings on luxury items.
The flashy pastor has also been accused of extorting a businessman out of $5,000, and then requested to borrow half a million and a stake in a real estate transaction in return for favorable action from the New York City government, from the same guy. According to reports, Whitehead knew he would be unable fulfill his end of the deal.
The new charges are unrelated the robbery.
White head is free on a $500K bond.
