According to reports, local authorities responded to a shooting on Burton Lane and found Carroll suffering from gunshot wounds. The nationally known comedian was taken to Regional One Health, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Southaven Police Department has stated that a man has been taken into custody and charged with murder due to the incident
