Access Unlocked Tuesday 26, 2025 Garland Police Department received a call around 6:10 PM reporting an attempted burglary and a shooting that left a 36-year-old man critically injured. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Dalewood Trail.
A 16-year-old documented gang member is currently being held in the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center. The juvenile faces several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary of a habitation, evading arrest, seven counts of vehicle burglary, two counts of engaging in organized criminal activity, and theft of a firearm.
