Access Unlocked Monday August 4, 2025 Track and field star Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested yesterday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on charges of domestic violence near a TSA checkpoint.
According to reports, the 25-year-old athlete was involved in a heated argument with a male individual, during which she allegedly pushed the victim.
Police reviewed video footage that shows the man attempting to walk away from Richardson, who then threw a pair of headphones at him.
The male individual informed authorities that he is Richardson’s boyfriend and that he did not wish to press charges.
Sha’Carri Richardson has since been released from the South Correctional Entity in Des Moines, Washington.
