Access Unlocked Wednesday July 17, 2024 A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against thirty-seven (37) year-old Benjamin Meece for killing Quma Martinez Carrillo forty-seven (47) of Odessa Texas.
At the time of the June 7th two (2) vehicle accident, Meece was test driving a 2021 Dodge Challenger with a salesperson from All American Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Odessa. The salesperson, dealership, and Meece have all been named as defendants in the lawsuit.
During the investigation, it has been determined that Meece did reach a speed of 124 while test driving the Challenger.
The mother of three (3) was announced dead on the scene, after being ejected from her vehicle during the collision.
The defendant Meece has been charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault, and failing to stop and render aid.
