Access Unlocked Wednesday March 13, 2024 Lichelle Laws who was known to the world as Def Jam’s first female rapper Bo$$ has died at the age of fifty-four (54).
In 1993 Bo$$, Laws released her only studio album Born Gangstaz which included the hot singles “Deeper” and “Recipe of a Hoe.” The project sold nearly 400,000 copies, peaking at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
It was reported Laws was at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan at the time of her death.
Her cause of death has yet released.
