Access Unlocked Friday July 21, 2023 Pop and Jazz singer Tony Bennett has died at the age of ninety-six (96), in New York.
Some of the awards Bennett received include twenty (20) Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award, and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
In 2014, Bennett received a number one (1) Billboard Award for “Cheek to Cheek,” which was a collaboration with Lady Gaga. This made Tony Bennett the oldest person to ever receive a Billboard Award, at the age of eighty-eight (88).
In 2016 Bennett was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
