Access Unlocked Friday July 19, 2024 Democratic Party U.S. Representative for Texas’ 18th congressional district Sheila Jackson had died.
The seventy-four (74) year-old announced in June of this year that she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, before passing away at the hospital. Previously Lee had breast cancer and became cancer free in 2012.
Since 1995 Jackson had won a total of fifteen (15) U.S. House terms.
