Today, Bowers was wheeled into court facing a Magistrate Judge, in a wheelchair. Bowers was calm and aware as he confirmed he received and read, a copy of the complaint.
The judge set the Preliminary hearing for this Thursday, at 10 am local time.
Bowers is detained in jail without bond. Bowers informed the court he is not able to afford an attorney.

Robert Bowers who killed eleven (11) and injured six (6) people during Saturday’s worship at the Tree of Life Synagogue is facing twenty-nine (29) federal crime charges.
The forty-six (46) year-old used an AR-15 style assault rifle and three handguns during the attack.
The service at the Pittsburgh synagogue began around 09:45 local time, with the shooting taking place shortly after.
Bowers confirmed he targeted the synagogue, to “kill Jews.”
Four (4) of the injured were police officers.
