Access Unlocked Tuesday August 8, 2023 Noni Battiste-Kosoko had been in jail since May 20, when she was discovered unconscious in an Atlanta, Georgia Detention Center on July 16.
Battiste-Kosoko family has stated, they are committed to uncovering the facts surrounding the untimely death.
The nineteen (19) year-old was jailed for vandalism and trespassing charges.
The sheriff’s office stated that Noni was “found in her cell by herself with no obvious signs of injury.”
The U.S. Justice Department is opening an investigation of Fulton County Jail.
