Access Unlocked Tuesday October 6, 2020 Edward Lodewijk Van Halen who is known to the world as Eddie Van Halen has died at the age of sixty-five (65), from throat cancer.
In 2000 Van Halen was diagnosed with throat cancer and had part of his tongue had to be removed. Throughout his diagnosis, he has faced recurrences.
Van Halen was a musician, songwriter, and producer who was a co-founder of the rock group Van Halen, along side his brother Alex Van Halen and David Lee Roth.
Eddie Van Halen was considered as one of the world’s greatest guitarists.
Eddie’s son Wolfgang took to Twitter, confirming the death.
