Access Unlocked Tuesday January 16, 2018 During a domestic disturbance call in York County, South Carolina, four (4) officers were shot.
Thomas McCall who is believed to be the shooter in the incident, was also wounded.
Prior to the shooting, a call was placed around 10 PM local time on Monday, alleging assault on McCall’s wife. McCall had already fled the scene.
Around 1 AM this morning authorities returned to the location, in search of McCall. At that time, McCall shot a K-9 officer.
As officers began to search the woods, they were fired upon and became wounded. The return fire injured McCall.
McCall was in possession of several long rifles, at the time.
The names of the officers, have yet to be released.
