Amtrak engineer charged with manslaughter

 The thirty-four (34) year-old who took the speeding train one hundred and six (106) miles per hour around a curve, which required a maximum speed of fifty (50), has been charged with manslaughter.  

The speeding caused Amtrak 188 to derail on May 12, 2015.

The train was headed to New York at the time of the incident.

Amtrak liability for a single crash is two hundred and ninety-five (295) million dollars, due to Federal Law limits.
