Access Unlocked Monday September 24, 2018 Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall has fired Officer Amber Guyger in connection with the murder of Botham Jean. Previously, thirty (30) year-old Guyer was placed on paid administrative leave.
Guyger is the officer who claimed she was extremely fatigued when she shot and killed Jean, after entering his apartment.
The killing of the twenty-six (26) year-old took place on September 6,
2018, at the South Side apartments.
At this time, Guyer is only facing manslaughter charges.
