Tennis player Maria Sharapova banned for two (2) years for drugs

Access Unlocked Wednesday June 8, 2016 – After failing a drug test, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has banned Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova, for two (2) years.

In March Sharapova admitted to testing positive for meldonium, which the twenty-nine (29) year-Maria Sharapova, Access Unlocked,, #Access Unlocked, Tennisold claims to have been taking the drugs, for health issues since 2006.

Sharapova is eligible to return to the tennis court on late January of 2018.

Sharapova is a five (5) time Grand Slam winner.
