Access Unlocked Monday June 27, 2016 – Due to an oil leak, a plane in Singapore carrying two hundred and forty-one (241) passengers had to double back and make an emergency landing, shortly after the check engine light came on.
Singapore Airlines flight SQ368 was traveling to Milan, when the aircraft’s right wing caught fire, as the engine burst into flames.
The passengers remained seated until emergency crews arrived, putting the fire out.
The incident occurred around 6:51 am local time at Changi Airport.
No one was injured.
